With 10 exclusive places available, this is your chance to take on an iconic challenge while supporting serving personnel, veterans and families affected by cancer. Building Heroes is proud to be working in partnership with Lovell Partnerships London Region to deliver an exciting Employer Insight Day in Woolwich this May. Taking place on 13th May 2026 (10:00am – 3:00pm), this event offers a unique opportunity for members of the Armed Forces community to connect directly with a major UK employer and its supply chain, and to explore real career pathways across construction and the built environment.
Take on the London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge event in May 2026 for Building Heroes. Accept the challenge of a Capital to Coast trail and test your grit & determination. You can join and take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run - and fundraise for Building Heroes! Richmond-Upon Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The full 100km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes into view - this is the bank holiday challenge to beat them all!
On September 11th, 2026, join Team Building Heroes for an unforgettable night time adventure through the heart of London! The Moonlight 10 Walk kicks off the famous Thames Path Challenge weekend festival of riverside events! Take on either an energetic 10 km looped route walk through the heart of London as the Sun sets and the Moon slowly rises. Passing famous landmarks – including St Paul’s, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and more. A lively finish line awaits – with a glass of fizz & a special Moon medal – followed by some welcome hot food & drink.
Get ready for one of the UK’s most spectacular endurance events - the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge® over the weekend of May 16th-17th 2026! Spectacular World Heritage coastline to take on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Building Heroes! A start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth halfway. For full 100 km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay –before a finish line in the vibrant town of Bridport. With half, Weymouth Marathon, quarter, and 10kmchallenge options also – it’s the event of the year!
Kick off Armed Forces Week 2026 on June 20th - 21st, by stepping up for Building Heroes and joining the North Yorks Ultra Challenge® - a spectacular trek, jog, or run through some of England’s most breathtaking scenery. Basecamp is in Scarborough – famous for its Fair, and a popular seaside spa since the 17th century. The route heads around the town & beaches, and north along the Cleveland Way, with a stunning coastline up through Robin Hood Bay and onwards to Whitby, of Captain Cook & Abbey fame, and our halfway 50km stop. For full 100km challengers, it’s inland along the Esk Valley before heading south into classic moorland scenery. Through Moors Park Forest – joining the Tabular Hills Walk back to Scarborough basecamp, where a big celebration awaits at the end of an epic challenge!
