Welcoming Community and Housing Investment in People (CHIP) as our Newest Bronze Sponsoring Partner
Working together to create meaningful training and employment opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community.
We are delighted to welcome CHIP (Community and Housing Investment in People) as our newest Bronze Sponsoring Partner, strengthening a growing community of organisations working together to create meaningful training and employment opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community.
Through this sponsorship, CHIP will directly support at least eight Building Heroes learners during the coming academic year. Their contribution will help Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists and military family members gain recognised qualifications, practical construction skills, employer connections and the confidence needed to take their next steps into rewarding civilian careers.
Partnerships such as this enable the charity to remove barriers to opportunity, help individuals translate their military experience into skills valued by employers and connect the construction sector with a highly capable and motivated talent pool.
CHIP was established to support the social value objectives of Communities and Housing InvestmentConsortium Ltd (CHIC), a member-owned procurement and asset management consortium. CHIP works with organisations and community groups to support projects that improve individual lives, strengthen communities and create lasting positive change.

The difference this support makes is best expressed by those who experience the programme. A Building Heroes graduate from the Ibstock Academy said: “I signed up to Building Heroes to gain new skills and a clear pathway into a civilian career, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The course was well structured, practical, and delivered by people who genuinely understand service leavers and veterans. The support didn’t stop at the classroom - I was given real guidance and confidence for my future plans.”
The new partnership reflects our continued commitment to working collaboratively with organisations across the UK. Together, this growing community of partners helps the charity extend its reach, strengthen the support available to every learner and create more effective pathways from military service into civilian employment.
