We are finalists in the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year category
We are absolutely thrilled to announce we have been nominated for our FOURTH award this year, which is an incredible achievement as we celebrate our tenth anniversary as a charity.
We are finalists in the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Initiative of the Year at the London Construction Awards, 2024.
This award, sponsored by Konnect&Co, celebrates charities and businesses who successfully promote D&I within the UK's construction industry. They recognise initiatives that demonstrate impact, promote equal opportunities and foster diverse representations and we are thrilled to be amongst an incredible group of finalists.
The anticipated awards ceremony will take place on Friday 27th September at Novotel West London, bringing together a diverse and innovative group of charities and businesses who help develop and support the UK's booming construction industry.
Brendan Williams, Founder of CEO, said: "What a year it has been for Building Heroes so far as we celebrate our tenth anniversary. It's an honour for Building Heroes to be nominated. It means a lot to me personally and to the charity to gain recognition for what we do. This award helps show the journey over the bridge from military life into civvy street."
This year has already been an exciting year for us as we celebrate ten years of Building Heroes, and the fact that we have been nominated in four awards highlights our passion and commitment to the Armed Forces Community.
