Feedback from our Graduates

“The course has given me more experience in construction, and I found it very interesting. It has given me new disciplines. The transition from the military to ‘civvy street’ can be quite difficult, so this has been a great opportunity,” - Curt, Coggeshall Academy, 2023.

"Thanks to the support of Building Heroes, I am now collaborating with another graduate of the programme to renovate properties, helping me build a career as I rebuild my mental health.” - Danny, Reaseheath Training Centre, 2023.

"After completing the Building Heroes Programme, I secured a full-time job as a Trainee Assistant Site Manager with Barratt Homes. Building Heroes enhanced my construction knowledge and the CSCS qualification was essential for the job criteria application, ensuring I got a foot in the door” - Lee, Sherford Academy, 2023.

“This is a great step for me on my journey into a career in construction, and over the next five years, I would like to further develop my construction management knowledge to allow me to potentially work as a site manager/project manager on large construction projects.” - David, Flight Lieutenant, 2024.

From our unique training format to impactful outcomes and industry collaboration, our unique initiative exemplifies excellence in empowering the Armed Forced community and inspiring learners to enter careers in construction.
