Ten stories to represent a decade of Building Heroes
Being the UK's sole tri-service charity devoted to offering funded training and employment assistance for the Armed Forces Community, our dedication lies in empowering and motivating current and future service leavers while increasing awareness of our charity. Over the past decade, one of the most effective methods we've employed for this purpose is through receiving awards.
These esteemed award ceremonies we participate in not only allow business leaders and veterans to honour the accomplishments of finalists, but also serve as a platform for recognising our contributions to the community. Awards not only validate our efforts, but also provide an opportunity for charities to come together, network, and advocate for the advantages of ex-forces employment initiatives.
We have been lucky enough to win some incredible awards and we are pleased to announce we are finalists in a few categories this year!
We were proud to receive the official Queen’s Award for Enterprise - Promoting Opportunity at a Royal reception, with HRH, The Duke of Gloucester, who presented this prestigious accolade to us during a ceremony held on December 5, 2023, at the County Hall in Chichester.
We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as finalists for the Training Excellence category at the prestigious Construction News Awards 2024. We entered this award in partnership with our Academy Partner, Vistry Group, to highlight the impact we have on the Armed Forces Community and the construction sector through collaboration.
